MHA 214: Our Battle Royale.
The other teachers express surprise at Aizawa’s intent to continue the fight, but he says that both Deku and Shinsou still have the will to continue –no, everyone is still raring to go. Deku seems to have lost his powers and is dragged along by Shinsou, and Deku says that right now he’s a danger to everyone since he cannot use his quirk at the moment. Ochako recommends he temporarily withdraw but Deku refuses as that’s tantamount to defeat. Their chance of victory remains so as long as Shinsou is right in front of them. Ochako is surprised and asks if he intends to fight without a quirk, to which he asks if she can do him a favor.
Ashido is in a fight with another student who uses “twin Impact”, which Mineta blocks, using his quirk to stick his appendages around the arena to both trap the enemy and increase his own speed, all of which he claims was in his calculations. Unfortunately for him he gets a little too close to Ashido who throws him and causes him to go bouncing around the area.
Meanwhile Monoma has managed to get Deku’s quirk, while inner monologing abou t how he doesn’t hate his place as a secondary role even though he wasn’t given the chance to walk in the spotlight like class 1-A. Before Deku realizes that he has one for all, he’s too close but Ochako catches him with Gunbelt martial arts. Deku makes a beeline for Shinsou, grabbing his cloths via Ochako’s gravity powers allowing him to float.
A flashback reveals how Aizawa trained Shinsou –revealing it took him about five years to really learn how to use his quirk –five years of starting from nothing until now. He says that people like he and Shinsou are the type who have to figure out how to do something when the time comes or they’ll die.
Shinsou gets serious and says he’s not the same person he was back at the athletic contest, and brings down several pipes on them both. Deku thinks back to the morning when he was anxious and realizes that the vestige he talked to has managed to calm him down a bit because he was so similar to all might.
“You can use us.”
He activates the black claw quirk and saves himself from being crushed.
